Uplifting Daily Thought

"Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your graciousness be known to everyone. The Lord is near. Don't worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made know to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses every thought, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4: 4-7

The world defines happiness by things of the world. Biblical happiness is built on our relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. I went to camp with the Youth from our church. I was sitting on the porch looking at the water just having some quiet time. One of the girls came outside and asked if I was happy. I told that I didn't chase happiness. I looked for peace. When we are younger happiness seems to come from things. As we mature in Christ we find we are at peace in Him and our happiness comes from that relationship. I pray you pursue a relationship with the Father that gives you peace beyond understanding.
